WHITECONCEPTS Gallery focuses on conceptual art and an interdisciplinary-based exploration of various media that include visual and sculptural works, installations, performances and other creative interventions.
Our represented artists and their works are promoted through gallery and museum exhibitions as well as art fairs, non-traditional arts venues, and through placement in both public and private collections.

The mission of WHITECONCEPTS is to cultivate an exchange among artists and patrons about ideas concerning international contemporary art. The gallery gives priority to issues concerning perceptions of space and regards this notion as a unifying principle. In close collaboration with artists WHITECONCEPTS Projects is developing and organizing art projects for collectors, enterprises, institutions, local and global authorities.

In 2009 Nicole F. Loeser founded WHITECONCEPTS, and serves as its gallery director. She is an independent curator and art manager with over ten years of experience in collaborating with institutions and corporations across Europe. She has curated more than 250 exhibitions and projects. Understanding exhibitions to be opportunities for discourse, she presents artwork in conjunction with lectures, workshops, discussions and publications as a means of engaging the community and fostering learning. Her central interest is in featuring socially reflective and environmentally focused projects that introduce diverse and forward-thinking perspectives.

Her work with people is global in reach, and is grounded in her interests for creative and scientific research, as well as exhibition theory and practice. As an art critic, Nicole publishes monographs and catalogs and is a regular author in catalogs, journals and publications. Since 2013 she has been a Board Member of the Art Market Budapest art fair. Furthermore, she is Artistic Director at the Institute for Art and Innovation, a multidisciplinary organisation, based in Berlin.

Nicole studied Musicology, Cultural Studies and Economics at the Humboldt University and Fine Arts at the Art Academy in Berlin. Before serving as director in the artMbassy Gallery from 2007-2009, where she organized exhibitions with international renowned artists like Patti Smith, Steven Sebring, Pietro Ruffo and Edward Mapplethorpe, she had worked for several institutions like Kunst-Werke Berlin – Institute for Contemporary Art, Museum für Kommunikation, Komische Oper Berlin, Cultural Association PB and the Digital Art Museum. She was involved in planning and conducting of conferences, festivals, fairs and events such as the Special Digital Art Show 1974-2005 at Art Cologne art fair in 2005.
